Biography

He is a professionally trained Tabla player and multi-percussionist based in New Delhi, India. His deep passion for music began at a young age, as he was introduced to Indian classical music early in life. His musical journey started at the age of 10, learning Tabla under the guidance of his father, Sh. Naresh Solanki Ji from the Delhi Gharana.

To further refine his skills, he joined Kathak Kendra at the age of 17 for advanced training in Tabla under the esteemed mentorship of Guru Pandit Shri Govind Chakraborty Ji and Pandit Shri Nirmal Mandal Ji, where he successfully completed his 5th Year Diploma in Tabla. Additionally, he pursued a Prabhakar Degree (6th Year Diploma) in Tabla from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, further solidifying his expertise in the art form.

Beyond Tabla, Yogesh is a versatile multi-percussionist, proficient in playing various instruments such as Dholak, Cajon, Djembe, Drums, and more. His dedication and mastery of rhythm make him a dynamic musician with a deep understanding of both traditional and contemporary percussion styles.
