Biography

Diwakar has won hearts with his soulful voice since childhood. He began classical music training at age four under Sh. Onkar Nathji and later trained under Pandit Baldev Raj Verma (Indore Gharana), Ustaad Hamid Khan, and Mrs. Poonam Talwar. His accolades include winning the All India Solo Singing Competition (2004), Bournvita Quiz Contest (2006), and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs (2006). He also secured second place in Pogo Child Achiever of the Year (2005) and was honored with the Saraswati Samman (2002). Diwakar received prestigious awards like ROOH-E-MAUSIKI (2006), Little Tansen (2007), and Lifetime Achievement Award by Shiamak Davar (2006). He was the runner-up for Most Popular Delhite (2006) and recorded with Asha Bhosle for Asha and Friends. His performances include a live show for the Hon’ble President of India (2012), Prime Minister, and Sonia Gandhi (2007). His talent was also showcased in a Doordarshan documentary and a Japanese movie (2011). In 2019, he won Rising Star on Colors TV, further solidifying his place in the music industry.

Music has been my passion since childhood, and I have been fortunate to receive formal training from Sh. Onkar Nathji at the age of four. Later, I honed my skills under Pandit Baldev Raj Verma (Indore Gharana), Ustaad Hamid Khan, and Mrs. Poonam Talwar. I have had the honor of winning the All India Solo Singing Competition (2004), Bournvita Quiz Contest (2006), and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs (2006). I was also runner-up in Pogo Child Achiever of the Year (2005) and received the Saraswati Samman (2002), ROOH-E-MAUSIKI Award (2006), and Little Tansen Award (2007). Recording a song with Asha Bhosle for Asha and Friends was a dream come true. My journey has also been featured in a Doordarshan documentary, and I recorded music for a Japanese movie in 2011. Performing live for the Hon’ble President of India (2012), Prime Minister, and Sonia Gandhi (2007) was a privilege. Winning Rising Star on Colors TV in 2019 was a milestone, and I continue to strive to touch hearts through my music.
