Having garnered praise & appreciation for his phenomenal performances in many blockbuster films likes Rang De Basanti, Golmaal, 3 Idiots, Hate Story 3 among others, Sharman Joshi has time and again won our hearts with his commendable talent.

1.Having given us a non-stop laughter dose with his performance in Golmaal series, Sharman Joshi’s vowed his fans & critics by playing the character of an extremely serious student Raju Rastogi in blockbuster hit movie, 3 Idiots. Truly, Sharman Joshi delivered and broke the monotony of just playing funny characters with this movie and Raju Rastogi’s character was a big hit.
2. Interestingly not many people know that Sharman Joshi belongs to a Gujarati family of actors and performing arts. He is the son of renowned Theatre Actor Arvind Joshi and the brother of television actress Mansi Joshi. Hence, now we know from where the actor garners so much of talent.
3. If you think Sharman Joshi is just restricted to Bollywood then you are wrong, well let us tell you the former has worked in many Stage Productions in English, Marathi, Hindi & Gujarati languages. He marked a milestone in his career by playing the role of a deaf character in a local Gujarati play post which he was spotted as a talented actor and thereafter made his debut in bollywood with Godmother in late 1990’s.
4. The ace actor has been awarded IIFA Award for Best Supporting actor in 3 Idiots. Along with this he has been honoured with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television.
5.The versatile actor, Sharman Joshi married the love of his life Prerana Chopra, daughter of famous veteran actor Prem Chopra. He has two beloved sons & a daughter, Vihaan, Varryan and Khyana Joshi. The actor is spotted often spending time with his family.
